What You Hate Might Be Good, vice versa

Do you often grumble about the ordains you obtain such as studying, helping housework, doing shalat five times a day + sunnah shalat, or even joining jihad fi sabilillah (fighting in the Way of Allah)?

Or, do you often express your excitement about something you like (or even love) such as being extravagant with your money, gossiping about someone, or even dating many girls?

Know it. We may hate something, but those things are actually beneficial for us. And we may love something, but those things are actually disastrous for us.

Written in His Decree, in the Holy Qur'an :

وَعَسَى أَن تَكْرَهُواْ شَيْئاً وَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ وَعَسَى أَن تُحِبُّواْ شَيْئاً وَهُوَ شَرٌّ لَّكُمْ وَاللّهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنتُمْ لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ (البقرة: 216)

Wa 'asaa an takrahuu syai aw wa huwa khairul lakum. Wa 'asaa an tuhibbuu syai aw wa huwa syarrul lakum. Wallaahu ya' lamu wa antum laa ya' lamuun.
And it may be that you dislike something while it is good for you; and it may be that you love something while it is bad for you. And Allah knows while you do not know. (Surah Al Baqarah : 216)
